We believe that women need to understand and develop their
relationship with God, and how this affects their relationships with
others;
God’s plan for them as women in their homes, workplaces, churches and communities;
and their particular gifts and abilities and the possibilities of using these to the glory of God.
Therefore, PCQ Women’s Ministries seeks to:
in the development of a personal relationship with God through evangelism, Bible study, prayer and worship and by supporting guiding and loving them through all the practical, emotional and other challenges they might face as women at all stages of life.
spiritually, by providing opportunities and resources for evangelism, sound Bible teaching, prayer and worship and practically, by providing training and resources for a range of life situations relevant to women.
by assisting them to discover their God given gifts and abilities and by challenging them to develop and use these appropriately in their homes, workplaces, churches and communities, to the glory of God and for the eventual furthering of His kingdom.
PCQ Women’s Ministries (WMPCQ) is a committee of women from Presbyterian churches in southern Queensland, who were appointed by the Presbyterian Church of Queensland Assembly in 2001, under the guidance of Lorraine Eastwell and Jan Langbridge, and who operate through the Committee for Outreach and Nurture.
